5 WAYS to manage and prevent lower back pain when you’re at the office all day
Lower back pain is a common problem when sitting down for too long!
The old advice used to be to “rest” when we experience lower back pain, but if your problem is from sitting down to much, we must get moving to help it!
Here are 5 simple things you can do to help manage lower back pain when you’re stuck at work all day!
1. Get up for a quick walk around the room every hour (have some water too!)
2. Stretch on your lunch break and activate your glutes after sitting on them all day (lower back stretching, glute bridges, clams, etc)
3. Use heat patches or bring a heat pack
4. Adjust your desk and chair close to you and at a good height to ensure less slouching
5. Make sure there is nothing in your back pockets when sitting down
